Despite our display on the dance floor for all the town to see, we aren’t quite ready for the gossip mill to talk about us getting a room at the Centennial B&B. I get us checked in while Nash waits in his truck. The excitement of feeling like we are teenagers sneaking around only amplifies the heat between us. I don't recognize the woman behind the counter, and she seems eager to get back to the romance novel she tried to hide when I walked in. On the front, the shirtless cowboy seemed a fitting sight for how my night is about to end with my cowboy.

“You will be in the Rocky Mountain room," she says, handing me my key. “If you follow me, I can show you.”

“Actually,” I hold my hand out to stop her. “I think I can find my way.”

“Top of the stairs and second on the left.”

“Got it. Thank you.”

I move slowly towards the steps, waiting for her to pull her book out and get caught up in whatever scene had her cheeks blazing hot when I first walked in. When she's buried nose deep in the pages, I signal for Nash to come in. We sneak him past the reception desk and up the stairs.

The door hasn't even clicked shut behind us before Nash grabs me and presses me against the door. His lips find my neck, and his grip on my ass feels like his life depends on it. And in a way, at this moment, it feels like it just might.

One of Nash's hands moves from my ass to the front of my dress, slipping his fingers beneath the lace of my panties. I widen my stance as he pushes two thick fingers inside me.

“You’re so wet.”

I nod, unable to find words as he presses his fingers on that magic button. He increases the tempo of his hand, and pleasure builds inside me. I moan and hold onto him for support. It feels like my legs are turning to Jell-O, and I could fall to a heap on the ground if he weren't there to hold me up.

“Come for me, baby,” he whispers gruffly in my ear. His hand moving faster.

“Nash!” I cry out as I tip over the edge of my orgasm.

He doesn’t let up, prolonging the sensation until I grab his wrist to stop him. My heart is thumping in my chest wildly, and I can barely catch my breath. I don't realize what he's doing until he reaches down and lifts me into his arms and walks me over to the bed and lays me down.

I watch with the biggest smile on my face as he unbuttons his shirt to reveal a broad chest of muscle. Years of working on his family’s ranch did his body good. The clink of his belt buckle as he undoes his pants is music to my ears, and I can already feel the pleasurable heat between my legs ignite again. I sit up and pull my dress off over my head and unhook my bra.
